Summary

Brittany and Corey began regularly meditating together. Brittany was considering leaving ORIX; although she valued what she represented as the only Black woman in the executive boardroom, she wanted to focus full-time on her clemency and mass incarceration work. After advice from her dad, she decided to leave the company and focus full-time on pursuing justice for those suffering under the drug laws. She was happy with her decision and further emotionally boosted when Mike’s brother Wayland also received clemency.

Brittany began working intensively with the Clemency Project, a massive group of lawyers working to create and process clemency petitions.
