Chapter 24-25 Summary

As chapter twenty-four begins, John Ross is once again, and forever, a Knight of the Word. He is heading to face the demon, and Nest offers to go with him to make what happened to Boot, Audrey and Ariel finished. John tells her no. John saw something in her and he knows she doesn't realize the power that she holds. He tells Nest to wait for him outside his apartment building. John goes inside and finds Stephanie sitting, reading a book. He tells her that Simon isn't dead, but Stephanie says she doesn't know why Simon would be dead and asks him to explain himself. John says he would have killed Simon if not for Nest. Nest told John that she remembered the way her demon father had looked at her grandmother, who had power. Demons confuse the desire to control...
