Summary

Jackie tells Terry that she is afraid of her parents’ disapproval of Terry’s return. She fears that her parents might refuse to help her in the future if she needs help with money or anything else. Terry says that he is also scared and nervous. They comfort one another in their uncertainty. In the morning, they awake with new courage and resolve.
