Summary

With Gillen dressed in the purchased French soldier's uniform, Chantal poses as his mother, with Gillen also wearing a bandage around his throat, a feigned injury. After having their identifications approved by a suspicious inspector, they board a train headed outside of Paris, and end up sitting next to an annoying salesman. The salesman indicates that he can see through Chantal and Gillen's ruse, and also indicates that he could receive a reward for turning them in. A nervous Chantal gets off at the next station, allowing the next train to pass before finally getting on a train to Orléans.
