Summary

In Chapter Twenty-one, in a dream, Thor rides on a ghost ship toward his mother. He hears her calling to him but the boat is headed toward the rocks. He wakes just before it crashes. When he gets his bearings, he realizes it is the last day of the Hundred. Kolk gives the boys their final mission. They are to bring back a golden scepter that a dragon has hidden in his lair. Unfortunately, William, who has made it thus far despite his timid nature, refuses to face the dragon. The others in Thor’s group board a boat and go to find the dragon. On the shore, the boys collect Orethist, a jewel believed to save the life if given to a loved one. Thor takes one of the jewels for Gwen. Reece almost falls into what the boys...
