Summary

In Chapter Fifteen, Gwen has to convince the guards that she has the right to see Kendrick in jail. Once at his cell, she slips him a package of treats she put together for him. They discuss their shared belief that Gareth is responsible for their father’s death. Kendrick tells Gwen she must prove that Gareth is guilty by finding the murder weapon. Although Gwen seems determined that she can free her brother, Kendrick reminds her that she is up against the dragon that is Gareth. Gwen gets inspiration believing that she can go to her mother for assistance.
