Summary

In Chapter 10, Diana continues to ignore phone calls from Sarah, knowing that Sarah's sixth sense is causing her concern about what might be happening to Diana. Diana finally calls and talks to Emily and Sarah. Emily reminds Sarah that they trust Diana, which indicates they have been talking about it. Witches cannot lie to each other and Diana reveals that she has been to yoga with Matthew and that he is standing between her and the other creatures in the library. She then recounts opening the Ashmole manuscript, saying there seemed to be a moment of “recognition” (111) between Diana and the manuscript before it opened. Sarah chastises Diana for sending the manuscript back when she did not know what might happen. She recognizes that the strange feeling Diana experienced later was the spell, resetting to protect the manuscript, which has drawn the attention...
