Chapter 26-30 Summary
In chapter twenty-six, Queen Morgase is in her tent when her few faithful servants come in and tell her that there is something that has landed on the hills off in the distance that looked like giant bats, but one could see men getting off of them. Suddenly there are explosions all around and Morgase knows that the blasts are coming from people that can channel. Morgase and the others stay in her tent while the battle continues. Suddenly, there are strange soldiers that come into her tent and order Morgase to come with them. They take her to a tent and introduce her to High Lady Suroth, who leads Those Who Come Before. Lady Suroth tells Morgase that she wants to have Morgase's throne. Suroth has one of her dancers perform for Morgase and Morgase realizes the woman prisoner is the ruler of one of the kingdoms that Suroth...
