Summary

In Chapter 25, Rhysand and Fayre go to the woods to explore Fayre's powers. Fayre notes that Rhysand chooses a spot far enough from other people to “avoid detection. Or casualties” (263). Fayre sends Rhysand back to the house, saying he distracts her. Later, she receives a note from him and she is so caught up in talking to him through these messages that she does not realize anyone is near. When her captor speaks, she recognizes the voice of the Attor.

In Chapter 26, Rhysand arrives and binds the Attor. He gets some information, including that the Hybern King has an endless army and is preparing to attack and that there are allies around the region, ready to join. Azriel takes the Attor away for further questioning. Fayre is furious when she realizes Rhysand had left her alone in this place expecting that someone...
