Summary

Chapter 33

Andronicus is still enraged at the dead McCloud soldier's deception. He meets McCloud soldiers on the eastern crossing into The Ring, but some of his men were instantly destroyed when they attempt to cross the magic barrier. Andronicus offers the soldiers great wealth and power if they let him through, but none respond. Further angered, he throws one of his men over the ledge, stunned when the man falls instead of disintegrates. He sends another man onto the bridge, and when he does not die, Andronicus orders a charge.

Chapter 34

Thor, Gwen, and the legion return to King's Court. They reach the Hall of Arms and find Steffen with Krohn, who was healed by Illepra. They are then met by members of The Silver. Thor tells them what has happened. Godfrey announces that he has proof against Gareth, and they all decide...
