Chapter 13 Summary

Vincent brings Jackie into the house and sees that her neck had been torn open with the intention of killing her. Christian, Marguerite, and Tiny watch as Vincent lays Jackie on the table. Jackie starts to shift and moan the suddenly starts to convulse. Though it is rather quick for these symptoms to start showing, Marguerite recognizes Jackie's moaning and convulsing as turning. Jackie drank enough of the saboteur's blood for him to turn her. Marguerite tells Christian that they are going to need rope, an IV and bagged blood for Jackie's turning. Christian says he will have Marcus get the supplies for the turning as soon as he gets back. Shortly after, Marcus gets back announcing that the saboteur got away.
