Chapter 9 Summary

As they are looking at the Stephano on the floor, Marguerite hears his heart beating and knows that he is still alive. Without thinking, Vincent bites into his own arm and starts pouring his own blood into Stephano's mouth. Marguerite tries to stop him from turning Stephano but it is too late. Vincent has used his one chance to turn a human on his vice president. They find a letter matching the ones found in Vincent's mail and it says: "A friend of yours? I'm afraid he got in the way.
