Chapter 6 Summary

Vincent comes down to the kitchen and joins Tiny for dinner as he asks Tiny why Jackie doesn't like immortals. Tiny admits that there is a reason and it has to do with Jackie's past, however, he would never betray his friendship with Jackie by telling him about it. Then, in a round-about way, he suggests that if Vincent were to read his mind while he was thinking why Jackie does not trust immortals, he would not stop him.

Jackie finds another letter from the suspected saboteur in that day's mail. It says "Ready to play?" This letter shakes Jackie up and she and Tiny go and check the perimeter of the property.
