Major Victor Joppolo

Major Joppolo is the main character in this novel. He arrives in the town of Adano as a member of the AMGOT team, which is set to restore the town after the war. He wants to help it to recover from the destruction caused by the Fascists. Joppolo is originally from the Bronx in New York and his family is Italian. He can speak the language fluently.
