Don continues to suffer from severe depression. He is battling anger, which is often unleashed on the medical staff. The doctors and nurses continue to encourage Don, even as he questions over and over how long he will be confined to the Iliazrov frame. One day as a nurse is removing staples from Don's arm, she suggests that he let out all his frustrations in a yell.
