New Jersey Suburbs

All of the timelines begin in the suburbs of New Jersey. The exact location of the Ferguson family’s residence changes slightly based on their housing decisions and socioeconomic status. In the first timeline, thy live in an apartment in Newark. In the second timeline, they live in a house in West Orange. In the third timeline, they live in a house in Millburn. In the fourth timeline, they live in a large house in Maplewood.

New York City

In three of the four timelines, Ferguson lives in New York City at some point in his life. In the first timeline, he lives in New York City while attending Columbia University, and Amy attends Barnard College.
