Chapters 15-16 Summary

In chapter fifteen, Karen and Hickey dress to go to the accountant's office and approve the transfer. Hickey appears to be in a good mood. He tells Karen about a ranch he has bought in Costa Rica. Hickey plans to retire there after this last kidnapping. In Biloxi, Will gets another call from Ferris and learns they have again failed to pinpoint the signal. Ferris wants to call the FBI now. Will relents, under the condition Ferris not tell them his name. Will also suggests that the FBI get a helicopter into the air and see if they can find the cabin in the area where the signal has been detected. Will then asks Cheryl to work with him a little longer. In exchange, Will promises to give her all the ransom money.
