Summary

Cade convinces Finn to join the others downstairs where they ate pizza and Cade drank more beer and chewed tobacco. Cade announces that they're all going to a party at Blake Grunwald's house because they have beer and girls. Since Cade is drunk Julia offers to drive but they have to walk to her house to get her car. On the walk, Finn tells Julia about William Mulholland who built a concrete dam in San Francisquito Canyon in 1926 which filled the canyon with a huge reservoir. The dam collapsed, however, and 12 billion gallons of water were released into the canyon. Hundreds of people died and bodies were washed away as far as Mexico.
