Harvest of Stars Related Titles

Anderson has written sequels to Harvest of Stars, each a fine novel in its own right.

They are The Stars Are Also Fire (1994) and Harvest theFire (1995). In the former, people in the Solar System, where machine intelligence seems to make human being superfluous, struggle to assert their independence. The latter novel depicts humanity's expansion beyond the Solar System and the conflict between human and machine intelligence. Both novels are good reads and intensely thoughtful.
