The Dark Tower Series is King's most ambitious project, as Roland's epic travels reveal a world of equal breadth a variety. Roland's quest for the Dark Tower—the nexus of Roland's world and of our also—spills over into other non-fantasy novels, as King explores human interactions with luck, destiny, alternate times and dimensions, permanence and mutability.
