Boehm Test of Basic Concepts [revised (Boehm-R)]

A readiness test for children in grades K-2 that evaluates mastery of basic concepts important for achievement in the early years of school.

The Boehm Test of Basic Concepts can be used as an aid in pinpointing specific areas where a child can benefit from remedial help. The test consists of 50 items and takes 30 minutes to complete. It can be given either individually or in small groups and is hand scored and graded according to a percentile equivalent system. The questions, which mostly involve quantity, space, or time, are administered orally. The child answers them by marking one of several pictures in a multiple-choice picture booklet.
