A hurricane has many parts. The Eye is that part that is located in the center of the hurricane. It can be 20-40 miles across. The eye wall is another part that goes around the eye. This is where the more damaging winds and heaviest rains will be located. Rain bands are the outer dense clouds that form the spiral around the eye.
