Question: Science

How do particles behave inside of different mediums (solids, liquids, and gases)?

Particles act differently in different substances. IN a solid the particles are extremely close to one another and vibrate back and forth, whereas in a liquid the particles are farther apart and the individual particles can flow past each other. Gases have particles that are even farther apart than in a liquid and they move quickly.
