One of the largest contributing factors is the combination of deforestation and the overproduction of carbon dioxide. Does it make sense to cut down the very things that would filter out the carbon dioxide, and then turn around and produce MORE carbon dioxide than could be filtered? When viewed from this perspective it is a very irresponsible act by mankind.
