Neptune is the huge blue planet that is the farthest planet from the Sun. It is the fourth largest planet and is 7 times the mass of Earth. It is named for the Roman god of the sea. Interestingly enough, Neptune was one of the first planets discovered using math as opposed to actually observing it with a telescope first.
