Why did Mayell invite Tom Robinson into the Ewell yard?

Mayella is a chacter of pity. She invites Tom because he is the only outside contact from her life of poverty, cleaning up with all her siblings, and being molested by her dad. She wants to experience the love denied and Tom Robinson is just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
