First of all, ascertain for yourself the nature of the job you have applied for, the kind of skill sets looked for and the kind of responsibilities you will have to shoulder when the job is offered to you.

It will then be easier for you to answer this question. You can tell them about th skill sets you possess and convince them that you can handle the job efficiently. As you are aware of the nature of the job you can explain to your employer how you would fit in the job perfectly well and how you can discharge your responsibilities to his utmost satisfaction. When the employer understands that you have a sense of commitment, he will certainly consider your candidature favourably. You can also talk to them about your past experience, if you have any, and explain why you will be better than any other candidate in doing this job well. Or you may talk about your extra qualifications, either educational or technical, that would give more quality to the job that is in offer; this way you can tell your prospective employer that you really have an edge over other candidates.

Good luck.
