2x^2 -3x-5=0

(x )(2x ) ( +1)( -5)=0

(x+1) (2 x-5) = 0

Solve:

(x+1)=0

x+1-1=0-1

x=-1

Solve:

(2 x-5) = 0

2 x-5+5 = 0+5

2x=5

2x/2=5/2

x=5/2
