(-5)(1) (-5)(-5x)+5(-8x-2)=-4x-8x

-5+25x+5(-8x-2)=-4x-8x

-5+25x+(5)(-8x) (5)(-2)=-4x-8x

-5+25x-40x-10=-4x-8x

-15x-15=-4x-8x

-15x-15=-12x

-15x-15+12x=-12x+12x

-3x-15=0

-3x-15+15=0+15

-3x=15

-3x/-3=15/-3

x=-5
