how was it that wealth was distributed in the societies of the settlers and aboriginals in canada??

This is a pretty big question for this short-answer space. Settlers came with pots, pans, trinkets, guns, alcohol that were traded with indigenous populations. Later, as land ownership pushed Aboriginals off their land, wealth distribution became much more complex and one-sided.
