FOURTH AMENDMENT - What standard must the principal meet before he can search you or your locker?

Before a principal or other school official can search a student's locker or belongings, they must have a “reasonable suspicion” that the students have broken the law or school rules, and that the search will turn up evidence of that wrongdoing.
