Cory's father, Tom Mackenson, is a good man, who was forever changed after attempting to rescue a man from drowning in a car that had driven into the lake. What he found that day..... a beaten man with a wire wrapped around his throat and handcuffed to the steering wheel had a lasting effect. He suffered from nightmares for months.... In the end, the Lady assists him in interpreting those dreams and solving the crime.
