No Longer at Ease

Unlike Obi, Miss Tomlinson, is ignorant of Nigerian culture. She adjusts over time, and she even becomes friends with Obi. She does not, however, understand the inner workings of the government. In the end, we come to understand that Obi suffered disillusionment as well.
