Nutrition is everything. The human body is geared for one purpose, and one purpose only....survival. If the body's needs are being met at optimal levels, then the survival mode is quieted and learning can take place. Children that are hungry, that are fed large doses of sugar and carbs, but few fruits and vegetables will suffer academically as well as physically.
