Daniel Kelly was Tyson's radio operator. As such, he was typically in close proximity to Tyson at all times. Kelly isn't located during the period where the trial is heating up, but he is found before its conclusion. As a result, Kelly testimony provides a truer version of what happened at the hospital than either Brandt's or Farley's. Kelly says that Tyson shot Cane in the heart, and that Tyson was held at gunpoint by his own men as they carried out the massacre. Kelly's exact status at the time of the trial is unclear. He says that he is in the import/export business, but insinuates to Tyson that he is actually some sort of secret agent.
