Stone notes that the Indo-European worship of mountains is also seen in stories about Mount Sinai/Horeb, the "mountain of God" in Exodus and throughout the Book of Psalms, in terms similar to Zeus atop Mount Olympus. Baal, the Hittite and Hurrian storm gods, Indra, and Ahura all share the same imagery as Yahweh speaking out of fire atop Horeb.
