Delbert Bumpus, Appears in The Grandstand Passion Play of Delbert and the Bumpus Hounds - Delbert Bumpus is in the narrator's grade at Warren G. Harding School, and changes the dynamics of the school, the teachers, and the bullies on the playground. Delbert attends school about three days out of the month, and spends his time while at school not playing, not talking, but chewing and spitting, and creating an aroma that results from a combination of not bathing and living with many animals.
