Mr. Brandt is Carrie's father. Mr. Barndt is angry all of the time. He is always yelling at Carrie or Mrs. Brandt. When Mr. Brandt finds out that Stu asks Carrie out, Mr. Brandt goes on a yelling rampage. Carrie escapes to Janie's house to get away from her father when he is yelling.
