William Alexander is the oldest of the two vampire killers that Cross is pursuing. Together with his brother Michael, he carries out the orders of Peter Westin, who hopes to become Sire of the vampire society. Due to their unconventional upbringing in a hippie commune, the Alexander brothers fear normal society. William acts as the dominate in the relationship. He sees that the brothers carry out Westin's commands accurately. William is described as a young man in his twenties, who adheres to the vampire lifestyle, which includes ingesting human blood in his diet.
