Who is George Bellows from Valley of the Dolls and what is their importance?

George Bellows is Jim's nephew. He founded Bellamy and Bellows with Henry Bellamy. When Jim died in the war, George took his place. Later, George and Lyon Burke took over the firm and renamed it Bellamy, Bellows, and Burke (keeping "Bellamy" in the name even though Henry Bellamy has retired).
