1) We learn that as a young woman, Minnie loved to dress up.... she loved to sing, and most important of all, she was happy.

2) We learn that after her marriage, Minnie no longer sang with the choir because she didn't have time. We also learn that she was isolated and rarely socialized with anyone outside her home.
