Society is a reoccurring idea in the book. Religion impacts nothing so much as it does the social framework of a people or culture. In all of the major religions, great emphasis is placed on social order and how men should relate towards one another. Although all religions speak to social issues to one degree or another, perhaps none are so focused on the topic as Confucianism.
