What is the reason Dorothy gives Glinda the Good for wanting to return home? What does Dorothy mean by that statement?

Dorothy tells Glinda that her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry are very poor, and that she's afraid they will have to hold "mourning" for Dorothy. This is a tradition by which the family of someone who dies follows specific protocols. For example, the women might wear only black. They might cover the mirrors in the house, and they might hold a funeral, all in honor of Dorothy. Dorothy says the family can't afford the cost of following that tradition.
