Nora’s intimacy develops through Reza due to his vulnerability as an outsider at school. Then, she proceeds to become friends with his mother Sirena, who is a fascinating artist. Nora sees herself as a counterpart to Sirena, a fellow artist; but, when she falls in love with her, there is only a short time when it seems it might be possible for her to confess her feelings. Sirena’s installation is getting close, and Sirena starts to let Nora fall by the wayside as she charges ahead with her work.
