The language used by the author is casual and often poetic. The language reflects a mix of interpretation and emotions as they are recalled two decades after the events took place. Dialogues are kept to a minimum because the story was assembled from bits and pieces of personal recollections gathered from the experience of the narrators and interviews with some of the actors of the drama.
