Who is Mr. Sanguinetti from The Spy Who Loved Me and what is their importance?

Mr. Sanguinetti is the owner of the motel. Viv is told Mr. Sanguinetti is to meet her at the motel the day after the Phanceys leave to pay her and arrange for the packing of all the valuable furniture at the motel. Viv learns the motel is not doing well financially and Mr. Sanguinetti plans to get what he can out of it and sell it. However, it turns out Mr. Sanguinetti's plan is to burn down the motel, blame it on Viv, and collect the insurance money. Bond foils these plans and Mr. Sanguinetti will eventually be arrested for fraud.
