Describe symbolism in The Soul of a New Machine by Tracy Kidder

Kidder does not use symbolism in this nonfiction text. In context, however, she does note that computers work with two symbols and these are symbols that exist in electrical form. The two symbols are low voltage and high voltage. Everything the computer does is based on these two symbols.
