The Snow Scouts are a group of young people, who are led by a man named Uncle Bruce. The Snow Scouts are hiking up the Mortmain Mountains for an annual ceremony when they meet the Beaudelaires, who disguise themselves as a part of the group. The Snow Scouts are captured at the end of novel by Olaf and his group with the plan to force the children to join them.
