What is the author's style in The Richest Man in Babylon by George Samuel Clason?

For the most part the language of the story is straight forward and easily understood. The reader may have some difficulty with the somewhat archaic language of the book. For example some of the words are no longer used in modern language and take a little bit of consideration to recognize their meaning.
