Dramatic irony can be found in each of the wishes that were made on the monkey's paw. The first man's last wish was for death, and in turn, Mr. White's last wish is for the death of herbert, his already-dead son. Dramatic irony can also be found in the fact that the Whites believe the paw will bring blessings, when it only brings curses.
